The Ideal Candidate:

As a member of our Inside Sales team, you will work with and support the Outside Sales team.  Diligence in following up with leads and effectively processing new inquiries are important attributes of the ideal candidate.

  3. Support – support the Outside Sales team by coordinating efforts to close customer deals

Role Activities: 

Role responsibilities include:


  • Qualifying new opportunities through lead follow-up
  • Answering questions on L.J. Star products and services
  • Educating and recommending products to current and potential customers
  • Providing quotes, technical support and estimated lead times
  • Continually staying informed on new products



Minimum qualifications include:


  • A degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent experience (5+ years)
  • Previous success in technical sales
  • Self-starter, strong customer-orientation and professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical understanding and attention to details
  • Ability to prospect and qualify leads
  • Ability to respond swiftly, meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sales Force is a plus
