Metaglas® Sight Glass Discs, combining the optics of glass with the strength of steel, are resistant to impact, pressure, thermal and mechanical stresses. Metaglas prestressed glass provides reliability against total failure, simplified installation, and extremely long and continuous service. And Metaglas is can be reused in the same or other applications, where conventional borosilicate sight glass discs cannot.
L. J. Star also supplies light port glass discs for Lumiglas® light ports and custom sizes, including Borosilicate Glass to DIN 7080; Soda Lime Glass to DIN 8902; and Quartz Glass.
We also provide wipers for the manual cleaning the inside glass surface of light ports and sight ports. Sight glass wiper blades are available in Teflon or Silicone, and are a great addition to when used in combination with a spray ring or spray nozzle.
